Chicostart’s monthly Tech Talk is planned at noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 16 at Chicostart, 411 Main St. Suite 101.
The topic will be net neutrality and how it impacts tech startups.
The group is also open to other discussion topics, according to Director Wendy Porter.
Later that day a Chicostart social “hang” is planned 5 to 7 p.m. at Two Twenty Bar, 220 W. Fourth St.

The program is a nonprofit 501(c)3 startup incubator, providing mentors, desks, couches, Wi-Fi, conference rooms, mail service, a stocked kitchen and more.
Porter noted that pitch lunches will be starting in September, so that entrepreneurs can practice their presentations on others.
Chico State University’s Career Center is hosting a job fair later this month and is looking for employers who are looking for employees or interns.
