Santa Rosa man injured in Highway 101 rollover

A Santa Rosa man was hospitalized early Wednesday after his pickup truck overturned on southbound Highway 101, north of the Robin Williams Tunnel near Sausalito.

Emergency crews found an overturned 2001 Ford F-250 blocking the freeway’s two right lanes after a report of the incident just after 4:30 a.m.

The driver, Jonathon Wimberly, 46, was determined to have suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, said California Highway Patrol Officer Andrew Barclay.

Officials said it appeared speed was a factor.

The two right lanes were reopened about an hour after the incident.
