Driver struck by gunfire on March Lane – News – recordnet.com

STOCKTON — A man who was driving in northeast Stockton was injured and a second vehicle was struck following a shooting Friday, police said.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was headed west on West March Lane, approaching El Dorado Street, about 6:41 p.m. when a single gunshot went through his vehicle and struck him, according to Stockton police.

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Police said a second vehicle that was waiting at a stop light in the eastbound lane on West March Lane and Kentfield Drive was hit by a single gunshot, but the two people inside the vehicle were not injured.

There is no suspect information at this time.
